UN Reform
World Federalists support the United Nations on the principles it represents, but we are only too aware of its shortcomings. We believe the UN is in need of urgent and radical reforms, reforms that will see it evolve over time into a democratic, limited world government. The argument in favour of a permanent International Criminal Court has been won, and there is growing support for more direct democracy at the UN and some form of international taxation to fund better global governance. We specifically support the introduction of a UN Parliamentary Assembly. For more information on this campaign, visit www.unpacampaign.org. You can join us in making the case for these ideas.
